Book: The Hidden Children
Author: Reshma Barshikar
What price would you pay to be extraordinary?
What would you do to speak to a butterfly
Blurb:
Shui cruises through life by daydreaming and listening to her favourite books. Even when she moved from the US to India, to a new school, a new culture, hasn’t really rattled her. She enters a world of magic and wonderment when a new girl enters her life. What starts as quest to look for a lost book, hurtles Shui into a world where people live in trees, talk to dead and speak to butterflies. But like all powers, even this power comes with a price. Will she be able to save herself and her friends?
Review:
A Story about magic, friends, mystery and thrills. This story is definitely a page-turner. The author has described this fantasy story so beautifully that you might actually forget reality for once. The story is very grasping and is fast paced. Language is little professional so it might take beginners some time to adjust to the writing.May be 2-3 chapters to get adjusted to the story and the concept otherwise the story is surely a blessing to read. I loved the main characters of Shui and Anya, they are portrayed really strongly.
Pros:
Interesting concept, fast-paced, and fun to read are some of the important points of the book.
If you are a fan of fantasy stories, you know which book to choose now!
